My impression is that what’s at work in those stories is a kind of moral greed. But most of us - myself included - had it pretty easy. A few of my close friends growing up really did have heavy personal burdens, e.g., having arrived on these shores as a wartime refugee from Vietnam, speaking not a word of English. If they were poor families (as I was), then they feel that this presented them with a practically Dickensian disability if they were from well-off families, then it is something else: They belong to a minority group, or they felt like outsiders for some other reason, felt like they didn’t fit in in high school, had a bad relationship or marriage early in life, an alcoholic parent, that sort of thing. They believe their stories to be stories of hardship overcome. Everyone is a writer, some are written in the books, and some are confined to heart.But, strangely, many of them feel uniquely put-upon. I would be eagerly waiting for your next novel. My Final Take: Brilliant and Outstanding debut by the author and kudos for crafting such a beautiful story for your readers. The shocking revelations made by Vivaan at the end could have been explained a bit, I personally felt little direct and abrupt, could have been more smooth.
There were some minor proofreading errors in editing at few places. I understand this novel is based on fiction, but somehow I felt the Author might have some personal experiences or it was inspired by any real incident, but eventually it turned out to be a brilliant debut.ĥ.The most compelling point in the novel are the poems, sayings, included made the story more compelling and realistic.ġ. I personally liked the Characters very well and how they are transformed throughout the novel is quite amazing. The premise of the novel is good and it gives something fresh and exciting to go through.ģ.
